She was born in Istanbul in 1968. She completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. After receiving her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (Eng) between 1985 and 1992, she started her medical specialization training in the Department of Child Psychiatry at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She became a child psychiatrist in 1998. She received the title of Associate Professor in the same field in 2000 and the title of Professor in 2007. She currently continues her work as a faculty member at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
She has many scientific articles published in international and national journals and research presented at scientific congresses, panel talks and conferences. She has one book written on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as book chapters and translated book chapters. She has award-winning works and projects. In addition to her association memberships, including the Child and Youth Mental Health Association Membership and the Child Abuse Prevention Association Membership, she is also a member of the editorial board of two separate scientific journals. She works at the Child Protection Center at Gazi University regarding the prevention of child abuse. Infant psychiatry also has an important place among the fields of study. She speaks good English. She is the mother of a boy.
